Egypt is preparing for a record summer tourism season in New Alamein, with the city set to host the New Alamein Festival 2026, featuring entertainment, cultural and sporting events, according to an infographic released by official authorities.
The city's beaches, waterfront promenade, hotels and resorts have been readied to accommodate the expected increase in visitors, while rising occupancy rates reflect growing demand for one of Egypt's fastest-growing tourism destinations.
The infographic also highlights the city's expanding infrastructure, including the Heritage City, which spans 260 feddans and features 64 buildings inspired by traditional Egyptian architecture.
In addition to hosting international sports championships and beach activities, New Alamein continues to strengthen its modern road network and smart infrastructure, reinforcing its position as a year-round destination for tourism, investment and international events, according to the Cabinet of Egypt, the Ministry of Housing and the New Alamein Festival.
