President Abdel Fattah El Sisi paid, on Friday, a visit to construction sites in eastern Cairo, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
“Sisi, during the tour, followed up on the projects to develop roads and main axes and the new network of bridges in the Mehwar Al Shaheed area and the Shinzo Abe corridor that connects the Nasr City neighborhood and the East Cairo area to the Fifth Settlement neighborhoods in New Cairo and the new population and urban settlements along the Suez Road to the new administrative capital,” said Rady.
He was briefed on the developments of the ongoing work to develop Al-Amal City in terms of comprehensive roads and services.
“Sisi also inspected the works of renewing and comprehensive development of the Child Park in the Sixth District in Nasr City,” the spokesman added.
During the tour, he met a female citizen and listened to her demands.
