From 10 to 12 April, Abu Dhabi will host the 3rd Edition of the I-Film Festival, organised by the Innovative Film Academy (IFA), a TV BRICS partner, which will bring together filmmakers, producers, creative professionals and industry stakeholders from across the globe,  TV BRICS reported.

The programme features a wide range of industry-focused activities, including a short film competition for emerging filmmakers, an on-the-spot content creation challenge, panel discussions and fireside conversations, as well as workshops and masterclasses dedicated to camera techniques, AI filmmaking, visual effects and post-production.

The festival also offers extensive networking opportunities aimed at building partnerships across regions and sectors. The programme will include red carpet events, premieres, screenings, keynote sessions, cultural performances and an awards ceremony, creating a dynamic space for creative exchange and industry dialogue.

TV BRICS will be the international media partner of the festival.

"The core vision of the I-Film Festival is to bring creative communities together across borders to collaborate, co-produce, and create content that carries shared human stories beyond one region or one language. We see the festival as a meeting ground for dialogue, cultural exchange, and meaningful partnerships – where filmmakers and industry voices can connect not only to showcase work, but to build new ideas and collaborations that result in globally relevant content. Alongside this, we remain deeply committed to talent development through competitions, workshops, and practical platforms that support the next generation of storytellers," said Upasana Mittal, Creative Director and CEO of the Innovative Film Academy.

The I-Film Festival serves as a platform for cross-border collaboration and co-production. This year’s edition places particular emphasis on fostering international creative dialogue, encouraging shared storytelling, and supporting the development of content that is both culturally grounded and globally relevant. The strong international interest in the festival has already been demonstrated by its press conference, which achieved all-media exposure, reaching an estimated audience of over 167 million people across regional, Arab, and international platforms.
