Leylat Omer Festival has postponed a series of concerts by Egyptian superstars Tamer Ashour and Bahaa Sultan, Saudi singer Ayed, Emirati superstar Hussain Al Jassmi, Iraqi singer Rahma Riad, and more.
This postponement comes after the Kuwait government announced Thursday that it would halt all celebrations and concerts in solidarity with the Palestinians who are subject to deadly Zionist aggression.
Kuwait's government Communication Center said on "X" that the decision came to affirm Kuwait’s permanent stand in support of the Palestinian cause.
Palestinian authorities said at least 1,055 people have been killed and another 5,184 have been injured in Gaza due to Israeli retaliatory attacks.
Hundreds of apartments and homes have been destroyed in the Gaza Strip, including refugee camps, leaving more than 123,000 people displaced, according to the United Nations.
More than 73,000 people are sheltering in schools, while hospitals struggle to cope with the numbers of injured.
