Hungarian National Security Advisor, Secretary General of OECD Visit NMEC

National Security Advisor of Hungary and Mr. Mathias Cormann, Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, visited National Musuem of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) on the sidelines of their current official visit to Egypt.

They were received by Fayrouz Fekry, Deputy Director for Management and Operation at NEMC. who gave them an overview about the unique location of the museum, its history as well as its cultural and societal role.

Accompanied by Maysara Salah, Executive Vice President of the Museum Authority for Archaeological Affairs, the visitors toured the Central Exhibition Halls, Egyptian Textiles Hall, and the Royal Mummies Hall.

Moreover, Salah gave them a detailed explanation of the museum's history and its unique archaeological holdings that narrate the history of Egyptian civilization throughout the ages.

On his part, both officials expressed his amazement at the unique treasures they have seen in the museum, especially the Islamic antiquities.
