Egypt is holding today, Thursday, the world's collective attention with the reopening ceremony of the Rams Road, in the oldest city in history, Luxor.
The Rams Road stretches 2,700 meters between the ancient Karnak and Luxor temples with 1,200 ram-headed sphinx statues on both sides.
This historical event will begin at 7:30 PM (Cairo local time) and will feature many performances including superstar Mohamed Hamaki, Wael El Fashni, and more.
The ceremony is broadcast on a large number of TV channels, including the following:
- "ON" will provide a special coverage presented by TV presenter Lamees El Hadidi, in addition to a special episode that begins at six in the evening.
- "DMC" is set to broadcast the event and provide coverage that will continue after the celebration ends.
- "Extra News" is slated to provide coverage of the opening ceremony presented by Lama Jibril, at nine o'clock in the evening.
- "Al Hayat" will broadcast the event and provide special coverage on the "Al Hayat El Youm" program presented by Mohamed Mostafa Sherdy, at half-past seven in the evening.
