The 83rd Golden Globes are taking place on Sunday, January 11 at the Beverly Hilton.
The event is a major precursor to the Oscars after the Critics Choice Awards kicked off this year’s awards season last week.

Comedian Nikki Glaser will return to host the show for the second time in a row.
Who is the nominees?
- Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Chase Infiniti leads with nine nominations.
- John M. Chu’s "Wicked: For Good" and Michael B. Jordan’s "Sinners" also received multiple nominations.
- Frankenstein, Hamnet, It Was Just an Accident, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value and Sinners will compete in the Best Motion Picture – Drama category.
- Best musical or comedy category nominees include Bugonia, Marty Supreme, Blue Moon, No Other Choice, Nouvelle Vague and One Battle After Another.
- Actors nominated twice this year are Amanda Seyfried, Jeremy Allen White and Jacob Elordi.
- Chloé Zhao has two nominations as well in a rare feat for women directors.
- Actresses competing for Best Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama are Jennifer Lawrence, Jessie Buckley, Julia Roberts, Renate Reinsve, Eva Victor, and Tessa Thompson.
- Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama include Michael B. Jordan, White, Joel Edgerton, Oscar Isaac, Dwayne Johnson, and Wagner Moura.
