Horror Movie "M3GAN" Sequel in Works

The sci-fi horror movie "M3GAN" is getting the sequel treatment. 

The Universal/Blumhouse/Atomic Monster genre film debuted on January 6 and achieved great success after the premiere.

The movie is by director Gerard Johnstone and follows M3GAN, an artificial intelligence, a life-like doll programmed to be a child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally.

The android is designed by brilliant toy-company roboticist Gemma and can listen, watch, and learn as she becomes a friend and teacher, playmate, and protector, for the child she is bonded to.

When Gemma suddenly becomes the caretaker of her orphaned 8-year-old niece, Cady, Gemma is unsure and unprepared to be a parent.

Under intense pressure at work, Gemma decides to pair Cady with her M3GAN prototype in an attempt to resolve both problems—a decision that will have unimaginable consequences.
