Egyptian actress Horeya Farghaly has signed on to star in the film "Al Mdrasa" (Working Title).
Essaf is also set to star in the pic.
The film hails from director Mohamed Gamal El Din and scriptwriter Mohamed Shaaban, with the story by Mahmoud Gamal Hedeny and Mohamed Hamza.
The project is co-produced by Sary Stars and White House Art production.
"Al Mdrasa" marks Farghaly's comeback to the big screen after four years of absence. She made her last onscreen appearance in the 2019 film "Estedaa Wale Amr".
The cast also included Mohamed Ezz, Mai Kassab, Sabry Fawaz, Mohamed Lotfy, Eman Al Sayyed, Entsar, Samah Anwar, and more.
Ahmed Al Badry directed the pic from a script by Mohamed Samir Mabrouk and Ahmed Adel Sultan.
Farghaly, born on October 18, 1976, won the title of Miss Egypt in 2002.
In 2010, she made her acting debut in Khaled Youssef's "Kalemni Shokran" (Please Call Me).
The actress is best known for her roles in the TV series "Ayam" (2021), "Saherat Al Janoob" (2015), "Amrad Nesaa" (2014), "Bedoun Zikr Asma" (2013), “Hekayat Banat” (2012), “Sedna El Sayed” (2012), “Al Shawareh Al Khalfia” (2011), and in TV series "Dawaran Shubra" (2011).
Farghaly is also known for her roles in films such as "Estedaa Wale Amr (2019), "Talq Sina'iee" (2018), "Decor" (2014), "Salem Abu Okhto" (2014), "Al Qashash" (2013), "Qalb El-Assad" (2013), "Nazareyet Amity" (2013), "Helm Aziz" (2012), "Rad Fe'l" (2012), and "Abdo Motah" (2012).
In 2022, the actress resumed her acting career after years of absence due to health problems. She had undergone several unsuccessful nose surgeries in the past nine years, which caused her to step away from acting and face many health problems, including breathing problems, changes in features to a large degree, and psychological problems.
