American actress-singer Hilary Duff and her husband Matthew Koma have contracted the coronavirus.
The Lizzie McGuire alum broke the news on her Instagram Story, sharing a video of her and Koma chilling in bed with their masks.
"We have Covid and our kids don’t so now we wear masks again,” she wrote.
Duff’s announcement comes just two days after the actress-singer shared on the platform that she’s pregnant with her fourth child, revealing the news through her family’s adorable Christmas card.
The family Christmas card featured her and Koma with their children, 2-year-old daughter Mae, 4-year-old daughter Banks and 11-year-old Luca Comrie (whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie).
The card reads: “So much for silent nights. Love the Duff, Bair, Comrie Crew.” (Koma’s real last name is Bair.)
The back of the card highlights more adorable photos of the kids, along with Duff’s pregnancy confirmation: “Buckle up Buttercups, we’re adding one more to this crazy bunch!”.
The Disney Channel alum’s family expansion doesn’t come as a surprise: In a November interview with Shape, she called parenting “f—ing hard” but “endlessly rewarding.”
The star noted that she’s “in my family-making phase. I built this and I wanted this and so I have to be here to enjoy the joyful and the painful and everything in between.”
In October 2020, the "Lizzie McGuire" star first debuted her baby bump in a Boomerang video posted on Instagram with her husband, which she captioned: “We are growing!!! Mostly me.”
The couple tied the knot in 2019 and welcomed their first child, Banks Violet Bair, a girl in October 2018. Duff also shares a son, Luca Cruz, with her ex-husband and former NHL player, Mike Comrie.
