Yesterday, Monday, April 29, 2024, the Qatari capital, Doha, played host to a significant coordination meeting between the Permanent Representatives of the Arab League, the Central Asian countries, and the Republic of Azerbaijan. This meeting aimed to prepare for the upcoming third session of the Arab-Central Asian Economic Cooperation Forum, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday.
Chaired by His Excellency Ambassador Tariq Ali Faraj Al-Ansari, the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the Arab League (the host country), and Ambassador Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Manzlawi, Assistant Secretary-General – Head of the International Political Affairs Sector at the General Secretariat of the Arab League, the meeting delved into various topics of mutual interest.
Ambassador Tariq Ali Faraj Al-Ansari has been an integral figure in fostering diplomatic relations between Qatar and other Arab League member states. With extensive experience in international diplomacy, Ambassador Al-Ansari has consistently worked towards strengthening cooperation and collaboration across various regional and global platforms.
The meeting primarily focused on discussing the draft of the Doha Declaration, expected to be issued during the third session of the forum. The declaration aims to establish a unified vision on key issues of common interest, including the situation in Gaza, geopolitical challenges, and economic matters pertinent to the Arab region.
