The first look at the social-comedy film "Mama Wi Baba" has been unveiled.
The film — starring Yasmin Raeis, Mohamed Abdul Rahman "Tota", Weaam Magdy — is slated to arrive in theaters in Egypt on August 27 and in the Arab World on September 11.
It is scripted by Mohamed Sadek, directed by Ahmed El Keiy, and produced by Mohamed Rashedy. "Mama Wi Baba" marks Raeis and Abdul Rahman's second collaboration after the 2020 film "Lis Baghdad".
"Mama Wi Baba" is co-produced by Kami Kaze, Silent Noise, Cine Pro, Rasheedy Films, Empire Entertainment, and Union of Video & Filmmakers. Union of Video & Filmmakers also handles the film's domestic distribution, while Film Yard and Union of Video & Filmmakers handle its worldwide distribution.
Raeis made her last appearance on the big screen in the romance-comedy film "El Hana Elli Ana Feeh", while Abdul Rahman was last seen in the 2023 film "Ibn Al-Hajj Ahmed".
