The first look at Egyptian actor Ramez Galal's latest film, "Big Ramy," has been released.
The project blended Galal's trademark prank-style humor with a high-concept, science-fiction premise.
"Big Ramy" follows a highly mischievous, prank-obsessed child who falls severely ill.
After ingesting medication, he undergoes an instantaneous physical transformation, waking up trapped inside the body of a fully grown adult man.
"Big Ramy" also stars Nesreen Amin, Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Mahmoud Hafez, Hoda Eletreby, and more.
It also features Moroccan singer and fashion designer Bassma Boussel, making her acting debut.
Mahmoud Karim directs the pic from a script by Farouk Hashem and Mustafa Omar.
"Big Ramy" marks another collaboration between Galal and Karim after previously working together on the films "Raghda Motawahisha", "Sabe Alboromba" (2019), "Ahmed Notre Dame" (2021), and "Akhi Fok El Shagara" (2023).
The project witnesses Galal make his big screen comeback after three years of absence. He made his last appearance in the 2023 comedy film “Akhi Fok El Shagara”.
"Big Ramy" is set to hit cinemas in the summer. Check out the teaser trailer below.
