Here’s a First Look at Egyptian Musical Film "Sukkar"

The first look at the Egyptian family musical film "Sukkar" has been revealed.

The cast includes Magda Zaki, Mohamed Tharwat, Moataz Hashem, and others.

The pic is Shahid streaming platform's first original musical content and discusses many issues of concern to children comically.

The film is slated to debut on the platform shortly after Ramadan.

"Sukkar" marks Zaki's first role in two years. The acclaimed actress made her last on-screen appearance in 2021’s "Hagma Mortadda".

Zaki, born on December 12, 1958, is an Egyptian stage, television and film actress. She studied acting at the High Institute of Theatrical Arts and landed roles in popular TV shows such as "Ahlam El Fata El Ta'er" (Dreams of the Flying Kid), "A'elat Elhag Metwaly" (Haj Metwally's Family), and "Abbas EL Abyad fel Youm El Eswed" (White Abbas in a Black Day).
