Helwan Univ. to Grant Scholarships in Archaeology

Helwan University has announced on Sunday that it will offer Joint Master’s program scholarships in the fields of Heritage Conservation and Site Management for the academic year 2018-2019 at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels.

In cooperation with the Brandenburg University of Technology and the University of Würzburg, Germany, the scholarship will cover all the expenses of the program, including travel expenses, and a full semester in Germany.

The 1st semester will be held at the original university, 2nd semester at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, 3rd semester at Helwan University. Students will return to their particular university as of the 4th-semester.

Graduates will earn two certificates from Helwan University and another from the University of Würzburg. The scholarship covers the cost of studying German for a full semester, travel expenses, the cost of one semester in Germany, which will be offered in both German and English languages.

Helwan University offers scholarships to employees of the Ministry of Antiquities through a contracted corporation agreement, a 50 percent reduction in tuition fees for all programs of heritage and museum studies. The programs will be held at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels.
