South Korean film director and screenwriter Yeon Sang-ho, creator of Netflix’s biggest show Hellbound, revealed his plans for a second season of the series.
Yeon made the announcement in a recent interview about the smash show that recently overtook "Squid Game" as Netflix’s top non-English language series globally.
He told Variety that talks about expanding the Yeoniverse on Netflix were true.
“The process of working with Netflix was very enjoyable on my end. They very much agreed to and related to my creative vision,” he added.
Yeon also detailed his plans for a second season of "Hellbound" noting: “Because Hellbound is based on the original webtoons, my partner Choi Kyu-Seok and I have decided that the story afterward will be told first through the webtoon."
He also shared his desire to continue his 2016 zombie thriller movie “Train to Busan” as a film series.
