Egyptian actress Heba Magdi revealed she has been privately battling serious health issue.

Magdi disclosed Monday on Instagram that she had been battling a "severe illness" requiring a "difficult treatment" regimen. Subsequent reports connected her statement to a cancer diagnosis she reportedly received in September 2025.

Her husband, singer Mohamed Mohsen, has since confirmed that her condition is stable while requesting privacy as she completes her recovery away from the public eye.

She began her treatment quietly in October 2025, which led her to step back from several planned projects, including the series "Leaba Wa Albet Bgd".

Her husband, singer Mohamed Mohsen, later confirmed that her health is stable and requested privacy as she completes her recovery away from the media spotlight.

Despite the physical toll of her illness, Magdi successfully completed her roles for the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon, appearing in "Al Maddah" season 6 and "Noon Al Niswa" by coordinating with the production teams to accommodate her treatment sessions.

Both Magdi and her husband have reassured the public that she is doing well and her health is in stable condition, and entering the final phase of her recovery.

The announcement has triggered a widespread wave of solidarity and support from fans and colleagues across the Arab entertainment industry.

Born on July 28, 1988, Magdi launched her career by joining the Cairo Opera House, under the leadership of Dr. Gamal Salama, and then trained under Maestro Salah Aram.

Afterwards, she appeared in the hit TV series “Boogy We Tamtam” (Boogy and Tamtam) and in “Fawazeer Amo Fouad” between 1998 and 2003.

Magdi landed her breakthrough role in the 2005 TV series “Ana We Ha’ola’” (Me and These Guys), starring prominent actor Mohamed Sobhy.

Other TV credits include "Qasset Al-Ams", "Al-Adham", "Al Zoga Al Raba'a", "9 Gameat El Dowal", "Gabal Al Halal", "Younis Weld Fadda", "Wilad Tesaa", "Aelat Al-Hajj No'aman", "Awalem Khafeya", 'Weld El-Ghalaba", "Talqet Haz", "Fursa Thanya", "Big Brother", "Malhamat Mousa", "Al Maddah", "Eshha Befarha", "Saatoh Wa Tarekhoh", and "Harb El Gebali".

Magdi is known for her roles in the films "Fas Malh We Dakh", "Yoom Men El-Ayam", and "Estensakh".

She is also known for her impressive performance in the theatrical play "King Lear".
