The Israeli occupation forces opened heavy fire targeting the tents of the displaced people in the Mawasi of Al-Qarara town, north of Khan Yunis city in Gaza.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs warned that the ongoing hostilities and repeated evacuation orders in Gaza are limiting relief operations that are hampered by restrictions on access, fuel shortages and other challenges.
The UN office reported that parts of Salah al-Din Road, a vital corridor for humanitarian missions, were included in the recent evacuation orders issued by the Israeli occupation forces for areas in Deir al-Balah Governorate, noting that these Israeli orders made the movement of relief workers on this main road almost impossible, and the coastal road is not a possible alternative, as the beaches along this road have become crowded with temporary shelters for the displaced.
