Healthy Sweet Potato Fries Recipe to be Enjoyed during Fall

There is absolutely no doubt that sweet potatoes are great fall food for the health seeing as they are rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals including Pro-vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium, manganese, vitamin B6, vitamin B5, and vitamin E. They also contain chlorogenic acid and beta carotene which are antioxidant compounds.

The best way to enjoy a delicious and healthy sweet and savory meal is to have sweet potato fries so, here is a healthy sweet potato fries recipe to be enjoyed during the fall:

 

  • Ingredients:

 

  • 1 large sweet potato (about 400 grams).
  • ½ a teaspoon of salt.
  • ¼ a teaspoon of pepper.
  • ¼ a teaspoon of paprika.
  • 2 teaspoons of olive oil.

  • Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, before slicing the sweet potato into finger shaped fries.
  • In a bowl, mix the oil, salt, pepper and paprika before adding the cut sweet potato and tossing till completely coated.
  • Place parchment paper onto a baking sheet before arranging the potatoes on the backing sheet.
  • Back for about 35 minutes or until golden brown then, Serve and Enjoy!
