Youssef Al-Ghaith, Kuwaiti television and theatre stalwart Hayat Al Fahad's manager, has provided an update about her current health condition as she continues treatment in the intensive care unit in London.

In a statement on Monday, he said: "Praise to God in all circumstances. She is still receiving treatment in the intensive care unit, and we will see her again after the treatment is complete, God willing,".

Al Ghaith concluded, "This is the first Ramadan we are entering without her, and it is disheartening. The actress was preparing to present a new work during Ramadan, but her health condition prevented that. I ask the public to pray for her speedy recovery,".

In August 2025, Kuwaiti media outlets reported that the veteran actress suffered a stroke, which required her transfer to the ICU and banned her from receiving visitors until her health improved.

She underwent a catheterization procedure, and despite facing serious health complications, she was showing improvement and responding to treatment by late 2025.

Al Fahad suffered a second, minor stroke during her recovery period in late 2025.

In September, she traveled to London to complete her treatment at the hospital.

Born on April 15, 1948, Al Fahad is regarded as one of the Arab world’s most influential television and stage figures.

She is best known for her Kuwaiti plays and the pop culture TV shows "Khalti Qumasha," "Ruqiya wa Sabika," "Jarh Al Zaman," and "'ndama Tu'Gany Al Zuhor."

Her career spans from acting to broadcasting, writing, and producing.
