Dr. Zahi Hawass, the world-famed Egyptian archeologist, said that he is happy to meet Dr. Jasser Al Harbesh, Head of the Heritage Authority affiliated to the Ministry of Culture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in Riyadh , the capital city of the KSA today, Thursday.

Hawass indicated that the meeting touched the inauguration of the project of excavation at the site of King RamsesIII in the kingdom next November.

He pointed out that the king sent missions to fetch copper from a neighboring country.

He wrote that down on papyrus.

And that country is the KSA after discovering the trade route which will unveil much information about using that route in epochs advanced the Modern Kingdom in ancient Egypt.

Dr. Hawass assured that there are many spots on the trade route will be excavated to find more evidence that the Egyptian kings sent missions to ancient KSA before approximate three thousand years.

It is known that a number of artifacts were found in the KSA and those artifacts which include an important group of scarabs came from Egypt.

Dr. Hawass and his guest agreed on many projects devoted to keep heritage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia along with producing a series of documentary films on antiquities of the KSA.

The meeting was attended by a host of archeologists and officials of the Heritage Authority.

Dr.Jasser Al-Harbesh offered Dr. Hawass some replicas represent pre-historic antiquities in the KSA.
