The series is centered around Barton meeting Bishop, a fellow archer and fan, who was posing as his deadly Ronin persona from “Avengers: Endgame,”. The pair team up to take down criminals as he attempts to keep his promises to his family to get back home for Christmas.
“Hawkeye” marks the fourth and latest live-action Marvel Studios show on Disney’s streaming service.
“WandaVision,” starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, was the first to premiere, followed by “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” starring Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. The third was “Loki,” starring Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino.
The series also features Vera Farmiga, Florence Pugh, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Alaqua Cox, and Zahn McClarnon.
It is helmed by Bert and Bertie, as well as “Saturday Night Live” director Rhys Thomas. Jonathan Igla is attached to write and executive produce.
