Hawass to Uncover New Facts About King Tut’s Death in 2020

The renowned Egyptian archaeologist Zahi Hawass, former Antiquities Minister said that King Tutankhamun exhibition at the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris, has broken records in the history of the cultural exhibitions.

“The number of registered visitors so far reached 1,371,476, according to the latest official census issued by the exhibition officials,” Hawass said in an exclusive interview to the Italian TV.

Moreover, the Egyptologist talked about new things in the life of the golden boy Tutankhamun regarding his family. “After many studies we have discovered that Tutankhamun’s father was King Akhenaton; and his mother's mummy is buried in cemetery nom 35,” he said.

Former Antiquities Minister also revealed that King Tut was suffering from a club foot and malaria.

“Through DNA, new facts about King Tut’s death will be uncovered and announced to the whole world in 2020,” Hawass said.
