Renowned Egyptian archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass received the prominent American businessman and political figure Michael Bloomberg and his accompanying delegation at the Sphinx archaeological site.

Speaking to the high-ranking figure, Hawass indicated that those allegations that revolve around the existence of the so-called lost city under the Sphinx statue, are not connected to reality with any connection, and have no scientific evidence at all.

In the same connection, he denied all the pyramid conspiracy theories and refuted unproven claims’ with historical and archaeological evidence like the tombs of the builders.

Hawass also described the Sphinx as a "Rock Structure” and one of the iconic statues that represent King Khafre, also known as “Khefren”, – and the claim is widely discredited.

Moreover, the maven Egyptologist told the visitors that the discovery of ancient papyrus, which reveals how the Great Pyramid of Giza was built, is the greatest discovery of the 21st Century.

Moreover, Hawass talked about the Lost Golden City in Luxor, noting that it dates back to the reign of King Amenhotep III, and it continued to be used by his ancestor King Tutankhamun 3000 years ago.

Additionally, the Egyptologist indicated that Lost Golden City in Luxor is the largest Egyptian ancient city ever, which was founded by one of the greatest rulers of Egypt, King Amenhotep III, on the western bank of the Nile.
