Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass, former Minister of Antiquities, will share the secrets of the search for Queen Nefertiti's mummy and tomb during an event titled "The Journey in Search of Queen Nefertiti" hosted by Nefertiti Cultural Salon.
He will also present the document detailing the return of the queen's head to Egypt.
The event is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, represented by the Cultural Development Fund.
The event is open to the public and will take place at the Prince Taz Palace Creativity Center on Al-Sioufia Street in the Sayeda Zeinab area. The event starts at 7:00 PM on Saturday, September 7.
Since its establishment in May 2023, Nefertiti Cultural Salon has been dedicated to discussing topics related to Egyptian civilization and its rich heritage through monthly dialogue events.
The events are moderated by radio broadcaster Wafaa Abdel Hamid and journalists Camelia Atris, Mushira Musa, Nevin Al-Aref, Amani Abdel Hamid, and Fathia Al-Dakhakhani.
