Hatem Salah Lands His First Lead Drama Role

Egyptian actor Hatem Salah has landed his first major TV role.

Written by Mustafa Hamdi and directed by Mahmoud Ezzat, the untitled project is set to screen during the Ramadan 2027 drama marathon.

Saad participated last Ramadan with the TV series "Efrag".

Ahmed Khaled Mousa directs the series from a script by Naser Abd Elrahman. Cedars Art Production (Sabbah Brothers) is the studio behind the drama.

The official logline for the series reads: "After 15 years behind bars, Abbas El Rayyes walks free—stained with the blood of his family. With his cousin’s help, he seeks redemption, only to confront a world far darker than his prison cell."

Along with Saad, the cast also stars Tara Emad, Nahed Elsebai, Hatem Salah, Abdulaziz Makhyoon, Samaa Ibrahem, Mohsen Mansour, Gehad Hossam El Din, Ahmed Abdelhamid, Omar El Saeed, Donia Maher, Alaa Morsy, Passant Shawky, and more.
