Hany Ramzy to Star in New Film after 2 Years

Egyptian comedian-actor, Hany Ramzy is making a comeback to the big screen after two years of absence with a new film.

The untitled project will be produced by his long-time collaborator Mohamed Henedy.

Ramzy made his last onscreen appearance in the 2021 star-studded film “EGP 200“. 

The social genre film also featured Nelly Karim, Asser Yassin, Hany Ramzy, Khaled El Sawy, Esaad Younis, Amr Abd El Geleel, Ahmed Rizk, Bayoumi Fouad, Ghada Adel, Ahmed El Sakka, Laila Elwy, Mai Selim, Ahmed Adam, and others. 

The film was written by Ahmed Abdullah and directed by Mohamed Amin. It was produced by Art Makers production and Verdi production house. 

The plot revolves around the lives of eight people of different social classes who are tied together with EGP 200 paper currency.

Ramzy, born on October 26, 1964, in Cairo, Egypt, is an actor, known for "The Mysterious Man by himself" (2010), "Nims Bond" (2008), and "Garden City Ladies" (1997). He is married to Mona Mohab Kamel. They have two children.
