Egyptian actress Hanan Motawie's upcoming TV series for the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon has received a title.
The drama consists of 15 episodes and is set to be filmed under the title, “Al Masyada”.
On the other hand, Motawie is planning to participate in the drama marathon with the TV series "El King".
The drama is led by Mohamed Emam and hails from director Shereen Adel and scriptwriter Mohamed Salah El Azab.
This marks Motawie's comeback to the drama marathon after two years of absence.
She made her last participation in the marathon with the 2023 TV series “Sero Bataa” and “Woud Sakhia”.
Motawie, born on February 23, 1979, is the daughter of acclaimed actress Soheir Al Morshedy and the late actor Karam Motawie.
She graduated from Cairo University and began her career in the 2001 TV series "Hadeeth El Sabah we el Masaa."
Motawie is known for roles in films such as "Yom W Leila", "Has", "Al Ghaba" (The Forest), "Heliopolis", and "Qas we Lazq", a performance that earned her a Best Supporting Actress award.
Her television credits also include "El Qahera: Kabul", "Ella Ana" season 1, "El-Rehla", "Ded Maghool", "Halawt Al-Dunia", "Taqat Nour", "Hadha almasa", "Wanus" "Sara", "Awlad El Shawarea", "Aghla men Hyati", "Azmet Sokkar", and "Wekalet Ateyya".
