Hanan Motawie to Participate in Ramadan 2026 Drama Marathon

Egyptian actress Hanan Motawie is preparing for a new TV series, which she plans to participate in during the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon.

The drama witnesses Motawie's comeback to the drama marathon after two years of absence. She made her last participation in the marathon with the 2023 TV series “Sero Bataa” and “Woud Sakhia”.

Motawie, born on February 23, 1979, is the daughter of acclaimed actress Soheir Al Morshedy and the late actor Karam Motawie.

She graduated from Cairo University and began her career in the 2001 TV series "Hadeeth El Sabah we el Masaa."

Motawie is known for roles in films such as "Yom W Leila", "Has", "Al Ghaba" (The Forest), "Heliopolis", and "Qas we Lazq", a performance that earned her won Best Supporting Actress award.

Her television credits also include "El Qahera: Kabul", "Ella Ana" season 1, "El-Rehla", "Ded Maghool", "Halawt Al-Dunia", "Taqat Nour", "Hadha almasa", "Wanus" "Sara", "Awlad El Shawarea", "Aghla men Hyati", "Azmet Sokkar", "Wekalet Ateyya".
