Hanan Motawie-led Series "Safha Beda" Gets Premiere Window

Egyptian actress Hanan Motawie's new TV series "Safha Beda" (Clean Slate) has received a release window. The show is set to premiere sometime in the second week of January. 

The cast also stars Mimi Gamal, Hanan Youssef, Hassan El Adl, Nour Mahmoud, Ahmed Elrafaey, Omar El Shenawy, Sammy Sheik, Ahmed El Shamy, and more. Ahmed Hassan directed the drama from a script by Hatem Hafez.

Motawie was last seen making a cameo appearance on episode 21 of season 2 of the crime TV series “Sowt W Sora", titled "Raqam Siri".

Radwa paid to visit lawyer Lotfy Abboud (played by Sedky Sakher) after he was wrongfully convicted of sexual assault.  She first plated 

Season 1 debuted in October 2023 and boasted a cast that also included the likes of Naglaa Badr, Sedky Sakher, Amr Wahab, Mourad Makram, Nardine Farag, and others.

The 30-episode series was scripted by Mohamed Suleiman Abdel-Malik, directed by Mahmoud Abdel-Tawab Toba, and produced by Aroma Studios.Sowt W Sora

Season 2 of "Raqam Siri" debuted November 9 and features the return of original cast members Amr Wahab, Nardine Farag, Ramy Al Tumbary, and Ahmed Shaheen as well as newcomers Yasmin Raeis, Ahmed Al Rafeay, and Rania Mansour.

The follow-up sees scriptwriter Mohamed Suleiman Abdel-Malik and director Mahmoud Abdel-Tawab Toba returning for season two. It is produced by the "Watch It" VOD platform and Aroma Studios production company.

Hanan Motawie

Motawie, born on February 23, 1979, is the daughter of acclaimed actress Soheir Al Morshedy and the late actor Karam Motawie.

She graduated from Cairo University and began her career in the 2001 TV series "Hadeeth El Sabah we el Masaa."

Motawie is known for roles in films such as "Yom W Leila", "Has", "Al Ghaba" (The Forest), "Heliopolis", and "Qas we Lazq", a performance that earned her won Best Supporting Actress.

Her television credits also include "El Qahera: Kabul", "Ella Ana" season 1, "El-Rehla", "Ded Maghool", "Halawt Al-Dunia", "Taqat Nour", "Hadha almasa", "Wanus" "Sara","Awlad El Shawarea", "Aghla men Hyati", "Azmet Sokkar", "Wekalet Ateyya".
