Egyptian actress Hanady Mehanna has recently joined the cast of the TV series "Alf Lela W Lela".
“Alf Leila We Leila” was initially set to participate in the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon but was postponed for Ramadan 2024 due to the many preparations that the series requires, as well as the long shooting schedule.
The series is a reimagining of the classic tale of Shahryar and Scheherazade.
The cast also includes Yasser Galal, Shery Adel, Yasmine Rais, Nour, Mahmoud El Bezzawy, Ahmed Fathy, Mayan El Sayed, Abdelaziz Makhyoun, Ahmed Bedier, Mohamed El Tagy, and more.
It features Galal as Shahryar and Rais playing Scheherazade.
The series is scripted by Anwar Abdel-Mugheeth, directed by Islam Khairy, and produced by Media Hub and Aroma.
“Alf Leila We Leila” will be the largest production participating in the Ramadan marathon.
The actress participated last Ramadan with the comedy TV series “Kashf Mestagel”.
The cast also included Hanaa El Shorbagy, Mostafa Khater, Mohamed Abdel-Rahman, Mohamed Ali Rezk, Elham Wagdi, Mohamed Lutfi, and more.
It was produced by Karim Abu Zekry and hailed by scriptwriters Ehab Blebel and Mahmoud Maged and director Shady Al Ramly.
The series follows a professional killer who decides to repent, so he goes to a psychiatrist for help and threatens him, turning the doctor's life upside down.
Muhanna was born on July 28, 1997, to a renowned Egyptian composer Hany Muhanna. The actress made her acting debut in the 2019 TV series “Afrah Eblis” (Part 2).
