Egyptian singer-actor Hamada Helal will make a comeback to the big screen after five years of absence.
The project will be directed by Karim Fahmy.
Helal made his last cinematic appearance in the 2017 film “Shantet Hamza”.
The 42-year-old star was last seen in season two of the TV series “Al Maddah- The Devils War”, the sequel to his 2021 TV series “Al Maddah”.
The first part also starred Nesreen Tafesh, Ahmad Bedir, Hanan Suliman, Khaled Sarhan, Mohamed Ezz, and others.
The series was scripted by Amin Gamal and directed by Ahmed Samir Farag.
Farag will return as a sequel while Gamal will return as a scriptwriter, which he is set to co-write with Sherif Yousry and Waleed Abulmagd.
The series centered around Saber (Helal), who was adopted and raised by an imam of the mosque (Bedir), as he harnesses his religious learning for bad deeds that leads to many crises.
The supernatural series is set to return for a third season during the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon.
The last episode of season 2 saw a mysterious person giving Saber a passport and plane ticket and asking him to go to meet the “Prince”.

Helal, born on March 20, 1980, is one of the best talented singers in Egypt and the middle East. His successful career as a singer lead him to launch a career in acting.
He is best known for his roles in the 2019 TV series "Ibn Osool", in the 2018 TV series "Qanon Omar", and in the 2017 TV series "Taqat Alqadr".
Helal is also known for starring in films such as "Hamaty Bet-hebbeny" (2014), "Mr. and Mrs. Oweis" (2012), "Amn Dawlat" (2011) "Helm El Omr" (2008), "El Hob Kedah" (2007), "Eleyal Herbit" (2006), and Eyal Habiba (2005).
