Oscar-winner Halle Berry has inked a multi-title deal with Netflix to star in and produce movies.
This comes after the actress collaborated with the streaming giant on her directorial debut “Bruised”, which debuted in September at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The MMA sports drama movie was rated as Netflix's top movie in the United States this week.
It was also the No. 2 English language film around the globe, ranking as the first choice in 71 countries, and was watched for 47.7 million hours in its first five days of release.
The movie features Berry as an MMA fighter who reclaims her power in both the ring and in her life.
The actress will next be seen in two Netflix original movies outside the new deal, including the sci-fi movie “The Mothership” from writer-director Matt Charman. She will execute, produce and star.
Berry is also set to star opposite Mark Wahlberg in the spy movie “Our Man From Jersey”.
