Veteran Egyptian actress Hala Sedki is the latest addition to the cast of actress Mai Omar's upcoming TV series "Ash Ash".
Sherif Mounir and Maged El Masry will also star in the series.
"Ash Ash" consists of 30 episodes and features Omar in the lead role as a third-degree belly dancer.
The series sees the actress teaming up once again with her husband, director Mohamed Sami in the upcoming project.
It marks the couple's ninth collaboration after "Hekayet Hayah" (2013), "Kalam Ala Waraq" (2014), "Al Ostora" (2016), "Tisbah ala Khair" (2017), "Weld Al Ghalaba" (2019), "Nasl El Aghrab" (2021), "Harley" (2023), and "Neama Al Avocato" (2024).
Sedki, born on June 15, 1961, earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1981. Her relationship with art began after returning to Egypt with the director "Nour El-demerdash" in the TV series "La Ya Ebnty Al-Aziza" in 1979, and her launch point was in the series "Rehlat Al Million" in 1984.
The period of the eighties of the twentieth century was the beginning of her true fame generally.
She began her career with the director Nour Al Demirdash in Rehlet Al Melion and has worked in more than 30 films.
Sedki presented various roles from comedy to tragedy with a distinguished group of major directors, she worked with the director Atef El-Tayeb in the film "Al Horob" and worked with the great director Youssef Chahine in the films "Alexandria-New York" and "Heya Fawda".
On the TV side, she starred in several TV productions such as "Arabesque", "Ragul fi Zaman El Awlamah S1", and "Zezenia S2".
