Lebanese singer-actress Haifa Wehbe has signed on to star in the TV series "Al Mushtabah Al Raba" (The Fourth Suspect).
The series features a large cast from Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and the Arab world.
"Al Mushtabah Al Raba" will be filmed in a number of European countries, Russia and East Asia.
It is scripted by Mena Dekran, directed by Laith Al-Rubaie, and produced by Beirut Production.
"Al Mushtabah Al Raba" will run for 3 seasons and is set to debut in mid-2025 on VOD platform.
The drama marks Wehbe's comeback to the small screen after four years of absence.
She made her last onscreen appearance in the 2020 TV series "Aswad Fateh".
Wehbe, born on March 10, 1976, is a multi-talented and influential superstar. She is considered one of the best female singers in Lebanon and the Arab world.
The Lebanese artist won the title of “Miss South Lebanon” at the age of sixteen, which opened the doors for her to work as a model on the catwalk as well as in music videos and TV commercials.
She was considered one of the most famous models in the Arab World. Thereafter, she worked as a TV anchor at the A.R.T. television network, however, she left that field behind to launch her music career.
In 2002, Wehbe released her first album, “Houwa El Zaman” (It Is The Time).
She made her acting debut in the 2008 Pepsi-produced film “Sea of Stars”, which was soon followed by many roles in the Egyptian cinema and television industry.
Wehbe has released over seven albums and more than a dozen songs.
