Egyptian-Syrian actress Hagar ElSarrag has joined singer-actor Diab in the suspense-driven social TV series "Al Tayar".
The production company is currently finalizing contracts with the cast to lock in the filming schedule, with shooting slated to commence in July 2026.
"Al Tayar" is set to debut during the off-season television circuit.
ElSarrag made her last appearance on the small screen in the 2025 TV series "Nos Al Shab Esmo Mohamed".
The cast also boasts a cast that includes Essam Omar, Rania Youssef, Sherine, Mayan El Sayed, Mohamed Mahmoud, Donia Sami, Mohamed Abdelazim, and more.
The drama consists of 15 episodes and hailed from director Abdelaziz El Naggar and scriptwriter Mohamed Ragaa.
The official logline for the show states:" Stuck in the endless cycle of his daily routine, Mohammad devises a plan to switch his life around, disregarding everyone else’s feelings. Little does he know, fate has its own surprise for him and his cunning ruses."
Sarrag, born on April 1, 1995, studied directing and photography and took many acting workshops.
She began her career in showbiz working as an assistant director on some commercials and TV series.
ElSarrag also appeared in several ads, short films, and a graduation project.
She has blasted onto the scene in the 2022 Ramadan hit "Betlou’ Al-Rouh".
Her other TV credits also include "Batn El Hoot", "Aitizan", "Ded El Kasr", "Embratoreyet Meem", and "Hala Khasa".
