GOT7 would be making a full-group comeback this May with music production being almost done, JoyNews24 reported on Friday.

If the reports are true, this will mark GOT7’s first release as a group in over a year, since dropping “ENCORE” in February 2021 following their contract expirations.

Despite the breakup, the members have always shown support for each other’s solo endeavours and consistently talked about wanting to make a full-group comeback as GOT7.

Another potential hint for the group’s comeback is a tweet from BamBam, who intriguingly tweeted out the number “7.”

In January 2021, the group's members parted ways with their longtime agency JYP Entertainment.

“The GOT7 members are very close. They agreed on staying together, but they disagreed on the choice of their agency,” an industry source stated. “After multiple discussions with the company, they decided to part ways.”

The seven boys each ventured off to different agencies for various solo promotions, with JAY B joining H1GHR MUSIC, Jinyoung joining BH Entertainment, Jackson and Youngjae joining Sublime Artist Agency, BamBam joining Abyss Company, Yugyeom joining AOMG, and Mark Tuan signing with American agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
