Since its first screening show, the Sudanese "Goodbye Julia" becomes one of the current highest- grossing films in Egyptian cinemas. The film screenings started in 12 cinema theaters, before adding more 7 venues.
Yesterday, Zawya hosted a special screening that attended by the director Mohamed Kordofani, and the film's stars Eman Youssef, and Nizar Gomaa who headed a short seminar after the event.
The film's cast received huge applause who expressed their amusement of "Goodbye Julia."
Veteran director Youssri Nassrallah, and Stylest Nahid Nassrallah were among the audience.
Just before the secession of South Sudan, a married former singer from the north seeks redemption for causing the death of a southern man by hiring his oblivious wife as her maid.
Directed and written by Kordofani, the film is starring by popular Sudanese artist Eman Youssef, model and the former Miss South Sudan Siran Riak, Nizar Gomaa, and Ger Duany.
