Today, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates' Affairs Minister Nabila Makram attended the opening of new "Al Safa Wa El Marwa" mosque in Ras, El Bar, Damietta. Religious Endowments Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, and Damietta governor Dr. Manal Awad attended the opening as well.
Makram recalled Pope Tawadros II's presence in the Al Fattah El Aaleem Mosque opening, the same goes for the Grand Imam of Al Azhar attending the opening of the New Administrative Capital Cathedral. Those examples proved the concepts of national unity and acceptance the Egyptians have.
She also praised the latest initiative by the Religious Endowments Ministry which aims to spread the morals of religious respect and accepting the other. Regarding the ministry’s efforts in solving the crisis of immigration, she talked about the seminar organized for the mosques staff and Imams about illegal immigration.
Regarding her comments on Mrs. Entisar El Sisi's interview yesterday, she described her as an icon of the Egyptian woman who works hard to take care of her family and spreading good morals and values among her family members.
Furthermore, she called for shedding more light on the role of the mother and woman in society as she is the real protector of her family, his behalf, Gomaa praised the mood of unity and acceptance that characterize the Egyptian spirit. This spirit presented an outstanding of religious respect.
Moreover, he highlighted the role of the latest national mega projects to decrease the percentage of illegal immigration and control its tragic impacts praising the efforts of the Ministry of Immigration in launching the initiative of “Boats of Saving”.
Finally, the agreed topic of today’s Friday prayer speech was about the horrors and dangers of illegal immigration as a part of the signed protocol and initiative held between both sides.
