Glenn Close and Halle Berry are set to star alongside Kim Kardashian in an upcoming Hulu legal drama that hails from Ryan Murphy.

The series was first announced in December 2023 and is currently titled “All’s Fair”. Kardashian will play a successful divorce lawyer who leads an all-female law firm in Los Angeles. Exact details for Berry and Close’s characters are being kept under wraps.

“All’s Fair” marks a return to television legal dramas for Close, who famously starred in the FX series “Damages” as notorious lawyer Patty Hewes.

The acclaimed actress earned two of her three Emmy Awards as well as a Golden Globe for her work on the show. Close is a 14-time Emmy nominee and won her other statuette for the TV movie “Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story.”

She has also won Golden Globes for starring in the films “The Lion in Winter” and “The Wife.” In film, Close is an eight-time Oscar nominee, including nods for “The World According to Garp” (in her film debut), “The Big Chill,” “Dangerous Liaisons,” and “Fatal Attraction.”

This will be one of the only regular television roles Berry has had her in career. Most recently, she starred in the CBS series “Extant,” which counted Steven Spielberg among its executive producers. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in “Monster’s Ball,” making her the first woman of color to win the award.

Berry also won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for starring in the TV movie “Introducing Dorothy Dandridge.” Berry has also received Emmy nominations for “Lackawanna Blues” and “Their Eyes Were Watching God.”

Her other notable film roles include the “X-Men” franchise, “Jungle Fever,” “Die Another Day,” “Things We Lost in the Fire,” and “The Call.”

Murphy serves as writer, director, and executive producer on “All’s Fair,” the first series to be announced under his new overall deal with Disney following the end of his Netflix deal.

Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Jamie Pachino, Laura Greene, and Richard Levine also serve as writers and executive producers. Kardashian, Berry, and Close are all executive producers along with Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, and Holly Jeter.

Close will produce under her Trillium Productions banner. 20th Television will produce in association with Ryan Murphy Television.
