US Dutch Palestinian model Gigi Hadid is strutting into a new chapter.
The supermodel can now add actress to her ever-growing resume after making her debut in Mindy Kaling's new series "Not Suitable for Work".
Gigi made an appearance in episode three of the first season, which premiered June 2, playing Catherine, the partner to Jay Ellis' investment bank boss Bill Gibson.
While this is Gigi's first onscreen performance, her voice has already had its own spotlight.
In fact, it was Mindy's series "Never Have I Ever" that recruited the 31-year-old to narrate the inner thoughts of Paxton Hall-Yoshida (Darren Barnet) in season two.
As for why Gigi served as the narrator instead of the retired tennis star John McEnroe, who divulged the inner monologue of protagonist Maitreyi Ramakrishnan's Devi Vishwakumar? She gave a pretty simple answer.
"You may be asking yourself, 'Why is old Gig-ers taking time out of her busy skedge to narrate the story of a 16-year-old boy?" the Guest in Residence founder said during the episode.
"Believe it or not, I relate to this kid. We're both constantly underestimated because people only see us as sex symbols," she added. "When scientists declare your face to be perfectly symmetrical, that's all everyone thinks you have to offer the world. But we've got brains too, and feelings, and," she added as a shirtless Paxton spilled water on himself. "Paxton, dude, put a shirt on! I'm trying to make a point here!".
