Sony released Tuesday a new international trailer for “Ghostbusters: Afterlife”.
The movie takes place 30 years after 1989’s “Ghostbusters II”, as a family moves to a small town and discovers their grandfather’s legacy.
It stars Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, Carrie Coon, and others. It will also feature Shelby Young and Sarah Natochenny in voice acting roles.
The sequel also features actors from the 1984 classic movie, including Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Sigourney Weaver.
It is directed by Jason Reitman, Ivan Reitman’s son, who co-written the movie along with Gil Kenan.
The trailer highlighted some of the relationships between its main stars, which include Mckenna Grace of The Handmaid’s Tale, and Finn Wolfhard of Stranger Things, as siblings and newly minted ghostbusters Phoebe and Trevor, respectively.
Rudd, who plays teacher Mr. Grooberson, was heavily featured in the trailer as he takes on the role of the sympathetic if overburdened authority figure doing what he can to help the kids on their quest to save the world.
"Ghostbusters: Afterlife" comes to theaters on November 18.
