Egyptian stars Ghada Adel and Ahmed Elawady are teaming up for the first time in a new TV series.
The drama is set to be filmed under the working title of "Sultan El Deeb".
It reunites Elawady with director Mohamed Abdel Salam and scriptwriter Mahmoud Hamdan. The trio collaborated last Ramadan on the star-studded TV series "Ali Clay".
"Sultan El Deeb" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2027 drama marathon.
It marked Adel's comeback to the drama marathon after a 3-year hiatus. She made her last participation in the marathon with the 2024 TV series "Lunch Box".

Born on December 25, 1974, Adel began her professional career in television commercials. Her journey has been a diverse one, ranging from acting, presenting, singing on stage, and television to the silver screen.
Adel had partaken in the play “Al Abanda” and the “Abyad wa Iswid” (Black and White) trivia show. She also co-starred in the TV series “Wajh Al Qammar” (The Face of the Moon) alongside legendary actors Faten Hamama, Gamil Rateb, and Ahmed Ramzy.
