Ghada Adel to Be Honored at 3rd Hurghada Intl Youth Film Festival

Egyptian actress Ghada Adel will be honored at the opening ceremony of the 3rd edition of the Hurghada International Youth Film Festival, slated to run from September 25 to 30.

Adel will be feted for her rich career as well as her contribution to the Egyptian and Arab film industry.

Founded in September 2023, the festival, organized by the Fnon Foundation for Culture and Media, is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Red Sea Governorate, the Tourism Promotion Authority, the Syndicate of Cinematic Professions, and the General Union of Arab Artists, in partnership with several entities.

It aims to promote and spread cinematic awareness and culture, promote Egyptian cinema, and support films made by young people, and also films that deal with youth issues in Egypt and the whole world, as well as introduce cinematic works from different countries around the world.

Ghada Adel

Born on December 25, 1974, Adel began her professional career in television commercials. Her journey has been a diverse one, ranging from acting, presenting, singing on stage, and television to the silver screen.

Adel had partaken in the play “Al Abanda” and the “Abyad wa Iswid” (Black and White) trivia show. She also co-starred in the TV series “Wajh Al Qammar” (The Face of the Moon) alongside legendary actors Faten Hamama, Gamil Rateb, and Ahmed Ramzy.
