Egyptian actress Ghada Adel is the latest addition to actor Amr Saad's upcoming TV series "Saeed El Nass".
The cast also stars Elham Shahin, Eman El Assi, Khaled El Samy, Mohamed Shahin, Tarek El Nahry, and more.
Mohamed Sami directs the project from a script he co-wrote with Mohab Tarek.
"Saeed El Nass" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.
It is set to be the biggest budget TV production in the drama marathon.
Adel participated last Ramadan with the TV series "Lunch Box".
The cast also includes Jamila Awad, Ahmed Wafik, Fadwa Abed, rapper Shaheen, Sedky Sakhr, and more.
"Lunch Box" is scripted by Amr Medhat, directed by Hesham EL-Rashidy, and produced by S Productions.
The series consists of 30 episodes and is screened during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
It marked Adel's comeback to the drama marathon after a 2-year hiatus. She made her last participation in the marathon with the 2022 comedy TV series “Ahlam Saeeda” (Sweet Dreams).
The series is based on the American crime comedy-drama TV series "Good Girls", which ran from 2018 to 2021 over four seasons.
"Good Girls" follows the lives of three suburban mothers who resort to robbing a supermarket and getting involved with a crime boss and the FBI.
It starred Christina Hendricks, Retta, and Mae Whitman as the main characters, with a supporting cast that includes Reno Wilson, Manny Montana, Lidya Jewett, Isaiah Stannard, and Matthew Lillard.
The series was executive-produced by Bans, Dean Parisot, and Jeannine Renshaw, for Universal Television. In June 2021, NBC announced that the show was canceled after four seasons.
Adel, born on December 25, 1974, began her professional career in television commercials.
The actress had partaken in the play “Al Abanda” and in the “Abyad wa Iswid” (Black and White) trivia show.
She also co-starred in the TV series “Wajh Al Qammar” (The Face of the Moon) alongside legendary actors Faten Hamama, Gamil Rateb, and Ahmed Ramzy.
