Youssef Al-Ghaith, Kuwaiti television and theatre stalwart Hayat Al Fahad's manager, has provided an update on her current health condition after being hospitalized.
In a statement Friday, he said: "Two weeks after she was admitted to the hospital for a catheterization, complications arose that led to her suffering a stroke,".
However, he was quick to reassure fans that the veteran actress has "Consciousness,".
"After 15 days, her health deteriorated greatly and she was admitted to the intensive care unit," Al Ghaith added.
Born on April 15, 1948, Al Fahad is regarded as one of the Arab world’s most influential television and stage figures.
She is best known for her Kuwaiti plays and the pop culture TV shows "Khalti Qumasha," "Ruqiya wa Sabika," "Jarh Al Zaman," and "'ndama Tu'Gany Al Zuhor."
Her career spans from acting to broadcasting, writing, and producing.
