Get to Know Google Egypt 2023 Trends

On Wednesday, Google revealed the top searched topics in Egypt in all categories. 

This year's trends were topped by the news of the war in Gaza, Palestine, and Hamas, especially Al Qasam's Military spokesperson Abu Obaida.

More topics related to the war in Gaza were included in the search like the Palestine map, Palestine's flag, Rafah Border Crossing, and Al Quds as Palestine's Capital.

In the same context, the War in Gaza, and the events of October 7, the conflict between Hamas and Israel, and Palestine were among the global top searched topics, therefore, Google dedicated a section for related trends under the theme of the Israel-Palestine War.

Sinai was also among the top searched words and topics in 2023.

Regarding the top searched news on Google Egypt, they were the Palestine-Israel War, the decline of the EGP, the Earthquake in Egypt, the Turkey-Syria Earthquake, and the Morocco Earthquake.

Top Searched figures included Emam Ashour, Joury Bakr, Bassem Youssef, Abu Obaida, and Ahmed Tantawy.

TV shows list included Gaafar El Omda, Al Aghar, Balto, Safah El Giza, and Baba El Magal.

For services, Egyptians searched for the platforms of the High School degree results, the registration for military academies in Egypt offices, and AI platforms.
