After the last round of group stage in the Africa Cup of Nations ended, SEE highlights dates, venues of the last 16 matches in the tournament.

Friday, July 5:

Morocco Vs. Benin 

Morocco face Benin on Friday, June 5 at Al-Salam stadium (18:00 CLT). Atlas Lions qualified for the knock-out stage after they maintained their perfect start to their campaign in the tournament as Group C winners.

While Benin moved into the last 16 as one of the four best third-placed teams.

Uganda Vs.Senegal

Later that day, Cairo Stadium will witness the second game in the last 16 between Uganda and Senegal.

Lions of Teranga, who are considered as one of the favorites for the title, booked their place in the knock-out stage after they came second in Group C. Whereas Uganda advanced to this stage for the first time since 1978 as the Cranes finished second in Group A.

Saturday, July 6

Cameroon Vs. Nigeria 

In a tasty meeting, defending champions Cameroon will play Nigeria at Alexandria Stadium(18:00 CLT). Both teams finished second in their group to set up a strong clash in the tournament.

Egypt Vs South Africa 

Later that day, Hosts Egypt will face South Africa at Cairo Stadium(21:00 CLT).

The Pharaohs maintained their 100% record in Group A after they managed to pull off three successive victories, while Bafana Bafana advanced to this stage as one of the four best third-placed teams.

Sunday, July 7

Madagascar Vs DR Congo

Debutantes Madagascar, who produced the shock of the AFCON so far, will face DR Congo at Alexandria Stadium (18:00 CLT).

The Barea qualified for the last 16 for the first time in their history as Group B winners, while the Leopards went through this stage as the four best third-placed teams.

Algeria Vs Guinea

Algeria -among the favorites for the title - is set to resume their adventure in the tournament against Guinea.

The Desert Warriors marked the ideal start to their campaign in the AFCON after they maintained their 100% record in Group A, while the National Elephants finished third in Group B, but they went through the knock-out stage as one of the four best third-placed teams.

Monday, July 8

Mali Vs Ivory Coast

Mali will come up against Ivory Coast on Monday, June 8 at Suez Stadium(18:00 CLT).

The Eagles advanced to the last 16 as Group E winners, while the Elephants went through this stage as they finished second in Group D.

Tunisia Vs. Ghana

In another tasty match, Tunisia will play against Ghana in the last game of the last 16 at Ismailia stadium(21:00 CLT).

Eagles of Carthage reached this stage as they finished second in Group E, whereas the Black Stars qualified as Group F winners.
