General Keith Kellogg, former U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine and former National Security Advisor to the Vice President of the United States, stated that the Iranian regime is now experiencing its weakest moment since 1979, stressing that recent military and political developments have created a historic opportunity for the Iranian people to bring about democratic change.

"The beginning of the end of this regime has already begun," Kellogg said. "The facts on the ground demonstrate that Tehran has lost many of the pillars upon which it relied for decades to preserve its rule."

He explained that the regime's regional influence has suffered severe setbacks, while its strategic military capabilities have been significantly weakened, leaving the ruling establishment facing an unprecedented crisis after decades of relying on regional aggression and terrorism to sustain its grip on power.

Kellogg emphasized that the regime's nuclear program was never designed to serve the interests of the Iranian people.

"The nuclear bomb was never intended to protect Iran. It was designed to protect the ruling regime. Preventing Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons is a victory for the Iranian people, for the region, and for international security."

He noted that although recent military operations have dealt a major blow to the regime's nuclear and military infrastructure, lasting political change can only come from within Iran.

"The future of Iran must ultimately be determined by the Iranian people themselves."

Kellogg also praised the National Council of Resistance of Iran for exposing Tehran's secret nuclear program in 2002, describing those disclosures as a turning point that enabled international inspections and subsequent UN Security Council action.

"The Iranian Resistance proved itself to be a reliable source of intelligence and played a decisive role in exposing the regime's nuclear deception to the world."

He further warned that Tehran has repeatedly relied on deception throughout decades of negotiations, insisting that any future engagement must follow the principle of "Trust, but verify."

"The regime has lied since its very first day in power. Verification—not promises—must remain the guiding principle."

Concluding his remarks, General Kellogg addressed the Iranian people directly:

"The window of opportunity is now wider than at any previous moment, but such historic opportunities do not remain open forever. The responsibility for shaping Iran's future belongs to the Iranian people. Hope exists today—but now is the time for action. The beginning of the end of this regime has already begun."
