The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) recently hosted an inspiring event titled "Creativity Shaping Impact", a collaborative effort between the Drosos Foundation and the Nahdet El Mahrousa Association. The event highlighted the vital role creativity plays in preserving heritage, enriching the arts, and elevating traditional crafts.

The initiative aimed to underscore the value of creative industries as a cornerstone of economic and social development. It also emphasized the transformative power of innovation and creativity in diverse fields.

Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the GEM Authority, led the event's opening ceremony. He was joined by senior representatives from the Drosos Foundation, artists, and creative minds from various disciplines.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Ghoneim welcomed the attendees and praised the event’s focus on fostering creativity and cultural exchange. He highlighted GEM's mission as more than just a traditional museum, describing it as a cultural hub that celebrates Egypt’s rich history while encouraging innovation that bridges the past with a brighter, forward-looking future.

The event began with a guided tour of the museum’s iconic spaces, including the Grand Hall featuring the statue of King Ramses II, the Great Staircase, and the main exhibition galleries. Visitors also explored a special exhibition curated for the occasion. The evening concluded with a captivating performance of *The Big Night* operetta by the Fabrica troupe, leaving attendees inspired and entertained.

Guests expressed their admiration for the event, noting its unique approach to exploring cultural heritage. Through an artistic journey spanning time, the event linked Egypt’s timeless civilization, contemporary creative expressions, and a vision for a future defined by innovation and ingenuity.

This event is part of GEM’s diverse programming during its trial operations. Visitors can enjoy key attractions, including the Hanging Obelisk, the Grand Hall, the Glass Hall, and the commercial and main exhibition areas, as the museum continues to establish itself as a global cultural landmark.
